Dorothy Powers
February storyteller Dorothy Powers is a retired transwoman, traveling tirelessly to see the world and visit family and friends. For 30 years, she owned and operated a local business specializing in computerized machine controls, CNC, used around the world. Products made with CNC touch lives everyday in homes, transportation, and in medicine. Dorothy is a commercially licensed pilot and has owned 4 airplanes. And best of all, Dorothy is the proud father of 4 sons, a stepson and stepdaughter. She has 7 grandchildren, and a lovely wife. She is a proud, queer member of the global community, working to make the world a better place by normalizing true authenticity and building acceptance for all. Hear Dorothy’s story Tuesday, February 4, at OUTspoken! LGBTQ+ Storytelling at Sidetrack.
