May storyteller Chijioke Williams is a sound designer, journalist, and voiceover artist who loves combining her experience as a community activist with her technical skills as a storyteller. Her goal is always to emphasize the humanity in every story she writes. Chi is also the marketing and communications coordinator for One Roof Chicago, an intergenerational housing initiative.
She is currently in the process of creating the audiodrama “Between Heartbeats”, available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts,”, and you can also hear her on the shows “Startripper”, “Super Suits”, and “Unboxing Queer History”.
Chi’s hobbies are martial arts, sound design, and imagining a better world. She now lives in Edgewater, where you can find her doing all three. Hear Chijioke’s story Tuesday, May 6, at OUTspoken at Sidetrack 7-9pm (seating begins at 6pm)
