Caroline Schless Andres
Caroline Schless Andres is a member of the Sweats Girls who have been performing true stories in Chicago and beyond, for the past thirty years and a feature at the annual Fillet of Solo Story Theatre Festival. During the week Andres sweats by teaching 8th Grade English Language Arts in East Aurora. Andres is also a sometime violinist, and an always-advocate for LGBTQIA+ youth. Recently she won a Seal award for community service from her alma mater, Occidental College for her efforts toward creating supportive policies and procedures for LGBTQIA+ high school students in Illinois. This effort helped to positively impact resources and policies for all queer youth attending public schools in the state of Illinois. She and husband Phil have two adult children, Maggie and Wren.
