September storyteller Yoni Pizer is a former cheesehead from Madison, Wisconsin; currently a proud Chicagoan of almost 4 decades (although now a Cubs fan he’ll always be a Packers fan). He is a former Illinois State Representative; currently and for the last 12 years the LGBTQ Liaison for Congressman Mike Quigley. He is a former small business owner; currently the Vice President and chief of staff at the Brad Lippitz Group of Compass Real Estate. He is former Board Chair of AIDS Garden Chicago; currently trying to maintain his sanity in the political world he finds himself living in. Married to his husband Brad Lippitz with whom he is soon to celebrate his 39th anniversary and proud parent to his 25 and 22 year old sons, Max and Jack-Jack.
