September storyteller Sunjay Kumar is a queer Indian-American community organizer and bus apologist. They have been organizing in queer and Asian American spaces for over a decade, where they’ve done everything from hosting potlucks to ending cash bail in Illinois. Sunjay is running for State Representative in Illinois’s 13th State House District, which is the gayest district in the state.
