August storyteller Nancy Mullen is the executive director of Youth Outlook, the first not-for-profit organization serving LGBTQ youth in the western suburbs. Nancy is in her 27th year with Youth Outlook, where it feels like she has lived 26 of those years since January. When she’s not having wild social work adventures, Nancy is practicing what she learned in her pastry chef program, presenting on PTSD and traumatic brain injury, and working on her second book.
