August storyteller Dominik Doemer is celebrating three years in Chicago this month. He is originally from Germany and Massachusetts, more on that in a moment. In his spare time, he loves to do pottery, play gay rec sports, and hang out by any available body of water. Professionally, he is the director of communications at a small nonprofit that connects academics with policymakers. This is his first story at OutSpoken.
