February storyteller Dennis Holtschneider is a Catholic priest who was the president of DePaul University from 2004-2017 and has been chancellor there since. Dennis is also a life trustee at the Chicago History Museum, where he raised money and pushed them to do their first-ever exhibit on the LGTBQ community in 2012 called OUT IN CHICAGO. He’s also the person who nominated Sidetrack’s own Art Johnston for the Making History Awards, the first time the museum recognized a member of the LGTBQ community as a key figure in Chicago history.
