Raymond Coffman
January storyteller Raymond Coffman marched in Chicago fist Pride Parade (the Gay Liberations March) in 1970. He has been an active volunteer within the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender community for 30+ years. Among those organizations are New Town Alano Club, Minority Outreach Intervention Project, Test Positive Aware Network/Brothers United in Support, Horizon Community Services, Open Hand Chicago and Pantry, and ADODI. More recently Raymond participated in the LGBTQAI+ Intergenerational Dialogue Project where he exercised his written story telling skills. He retired a few years ago and enjoys traveling and exploring the world. Hear Raymond’s story Tuesday, January 6, at OUTspoken at Sidetrack. Seating from 6pm, stories 7-9pm.
